Police have arrested eight suspects in Eldoret as investigations intensify into a suspected counterfeit fertiliser syndicate believed to have been repackaging and distributing fake agricultural inputs to farmers.

According to authorities, detectives recovered thousands of bags of suspected counterfeit fertiliser during coordinated operations in Uasin Gishu County. Samples have been taken for laboratory analysis to determine the quality and authenticity of the products, while investigators continue pursuing other suspects believed to be linked to the network.
