The Gen Z protester who became a national symbol during the June 25, 2024 anti–Finance Bill demonstrations has resurfaced nearly two years later after disappearing from public view.

The young activist, popularly known online as “Mr. Speaker Sir,” went viral after storming Kenya’s Parliament during the historic Gen Z protests and addressing the Speaker’s chair while recording himself inside the chambers.
